An important cornerstone in the development of lean business thinking is the use of training to establish lean thinking skills.
Irrespective of your role or profession developing lean thinking skills will help you be more effective and standout, turning your clients and colleagues into fans!
As UK businesses and institutions struggle with poor productivity there has never been a more important time to develop lean thinking skills.
Some of the world’s leading and most successful companies including; Airbus, Nissan, Zurich Insurance, ensure their employees complete lean training.
Lean training typically uses a "belt” system similar to Karate or Judo. Typical lean training follows this hierarchy:-
  • Yellow Belt – A Professional trained in foundation elements.
  • Green Belt – Intermediate Lean Practitioner
  • Black Belt – Lean Expert
At Lean Business Thinking Green and Black Belt training is developed specific to client needs. We have always strived though to make these lean skills accessible the widest possible audience. As a result, we offer standardised Yellow Belt training in a "face to face” classroom environment. This training is open to all participants. Participants who attend this course and successfully pass the short Yellow Belt exam will receive a Yellow Belt Foundation course certificate.

Our Yellow Belt foundation course will be delivered by Black Belt or Master Black belt certified lean experts.
